What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Updated on 30 May 2026.
Green Aspects Limited ("Green Aspects") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and our services. We're based in London and registered in England.
When you enquire we collect your name, email, phone (if provided), postcode, property type and any notes you choose to share. When you become a client we additionally hold your service address, billing details and visit records.
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, schedule visits, invoice for completed work and keep accurate service records. We rely on legitimate interest for enquiries and contractual necessity for active clients.
We do not send marketing emails. Ever. The only messages we send relate to your enquiry, your active services or your invoice.
Your information is handled by a small team at Green Aspects. We use a small number of trusted processors — our hosting provider, payment processor and accounting software — under data processing agreements. We never sell personal information.
Enquiries that don't become clients are deleted after 24 months. Client records are kept for the duration of the relationship and for 7 years afterwards for tax, accounting and warranty purposes.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to processing or request portability. To exercise any of these rights write to us at the address below.
Your data is held on UK and EU servers with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to team members who need it and protected with strong authentication.
We use only essential cookies required for the website to function and a small number of privacy-friendly analytics cookies to understand traffic. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data please contact us first — we'd like the chance to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Privacy questions and rights requests should be sent to info@greenaspects.co.uk or by post to Green Aspects Limited.
